Bundesnotarkammer

Platform engineer in container infrastructure

In short

This role involves further developing the on-premises container infrastructure (Docker, OKD) at the IT operations division of Germany's Federal Chamber of Notaries, which runs highly secure systems for the national notariat and judiciary. The job covers infrastructure deployment with Puppet Enterprise, Git-based quality reviews, metrics monitoring, and third-level support, plus advising internal and external teams. It requires hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OKD or OpenShift, public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS), and solid Linux and scripting skills; Puppet, Prometheus and Grafana experience is a plus. The position is a hybrid role based in Berlin-Mitte, full-time, at mid-level seniority.
