About the Project
Our client, a Swedish technology company, is building an AI platform that turns satellite imagery and sensor data into clear, actionable insights for maritime monitoring and critical infrastructure protection. You'll take full ownership of the platform architecture and bring the existing system to production. This is a hands-on role: you'll lead technical decisions and still write critical code yourself, working in a small team with the client's CEO and AI/ML engineer.
Tech Stack

•WebGIS, AI/ML inference integration
•Nice to have: Earth Observation, optical and SAR satellite data, sensor/data fusion
Requirements
•Proven track record of delivering geospatial platforms (WebGIS, spatial data platforms) to production
•7+ years in software development, including several years as a tech lead, architect or CTO
•Hands-on mindset: you still write code and work with infrastructure yourself
•Strong AWS experience: architecture, deployment, cloud operations
•Python backend development and integrating AI/ML models into production
•PostgreSQL/PostGIS and geospatial data modeling
•Production data ingestion and processing pipelines
•Logging, monitoring, authentication and RBAC
•English B2+
•Nice to have: satellite data experience (especially SAR), ESA/EU space programs, Swedish language
