About the Project
Sii Poland provides IT services and IT consulting. The project focuses on migrating an existing application that supports sales channels from Microsoft Azure to IBM Cloud. The application consists of multiple microservices that will be gradually migrated to the new cloud environment.
Responsibilities
•Migrate existing applications from Azure to IBM Cloud across different environments
•Adapt applications to meet architectural and security requirements
•Adjust existing solutions to ensure compatibility with the new cloud environment
•Work with microservices, databases, event queues, and application configuration
•Validate application performance and functionality after migration
•Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across different IT teams
•Ensure compliance with coding standards, application standards, and governance guidelines
•Work closely with the global DevOps team on infrastructure and CI/CD transformation
Requirements
•At least 5 years of experience developing PHP/Symfony applications
•Proven experience with TypeScript and/or Node.js
•Solid understanding of microservice architecture
•Hands-on knowledge of running applications in a cloud environment
•Familiarity with data migration, transformation, and scripting
•Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-oriented approach
•Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
•Good written and spoken command of English and Polish
