About the Team
The promotional features team develops and optimizes promotional features for gaming platforms, with a focus on performance, scalability, and advanced solutions.
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain backend systems for promotional features
•Optimize systems for performance and scalability
•Lead technical decisions and contribute to SaaS solutions
•Collaborate with distributed teams to develop and implement new features
•Review code and architecture to ensure high standards
•Solve complex technical challenges
•Participate in squad on-call rotations to support system reliability and availability
Requirements
•Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, or backend engineering experience with Go, Java, C#, or C++ and ability to ramp up quickly
•Understand asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns
•Experience building distributed systems and using messaging and coordination tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, and distributed locks
•Production experience with gRPC
•Knowledge of relational, columnar, and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, DynamoDB, and MongoDB
•Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes
•Ability to build and maintain unit and end-to-end tests
•Proven experience delivering production-ready solutions
•Experience with large-scale microservices architectures
•Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
