About the Department
The purpose of the Private Bank Chief Investment Office (PB CIO) business division is to convey Deutsche Bank's market outlook to internal and external clients, thereby providing the basis for the advisory and DPM (Discretionary Portfolio Management) business.
The DPM Model Portfolio Construction Team is the asset management area within PB CIO. We offer a broad range of solutions for our clients. The goal is to achieve convincing results for our clients using our globally oriented investment process. We place particular focus on sustainable performance and the management of (capital market) risks. Our clients include retail, institutional, and high-net-worth private clients. Since 1968, we have been managing our clients' assets, predominantly in multi-asset strategies.
Your Responsibilities
•As a Portfolio Analyst DPM Implementation, you support the portfolio manager by implementing transaction decisions in the client portfolio; you work both on instruction and independently in certain constellations (e.g., new investment of a portfolio based on a model portfolio).
•You are responsible for implementing allocation decisions from the investment process into client portfolios.
•You update orientation portfolios, dispose of and trade securities based on the portfolio management systems, and process client orders.
•Your area of responsibility also includes the preparation and implementation of decisions for the mandates in day-to-day business. The efficient and reliable implementation of investment decisions, combined with consideration of contractual and client-specific requirements in portfolio implementation, is decisive here.
•As a Portfolio Analyst in DPM Implementation, you work closely with experienced colleagues and interact within the group, but are equally required to work proactively and independently.
Your Skills and Experience
•Completed studies or training with a focus on business, economics, or mathematics, ideally with a focus on banking or similar
•Portfolio management experience or experience in securities advisory, order activities, and direct management of client portfolios, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the financial market, including instruments in theory and practice, affinity for capital markets, investment, and asset management topics
•Ability to prioritize tasks under time pressure and high workload and to carry them out conscientiously and reliably, as well as to quickly and thoroughly familiarize oneself with complex matters
•Strong analytical skills and process-oriented thinking in order to understand complex relationships and communicate findings openly and professionally
•Very good knowledge of MS Office, Bloomberg or LSEG Eikon/Workspace, ideally AM Portfolio or PM1
•Fluent German and English skills, written and spoken
