Quantum Systems

Mechanical Engineer Interceptor C‑UAS (m/f/d)

In short

Senior Mechanical Engineer role at Quantum Systems, a European deep-tech company building unmanned systems, focused on taking a rocket-boosted, all-electric Counter-UAS interceptor drone from prototype to mass production. The role covers conceptual and detailed design of injection-molded plastic components, tooling and supplier coordination, and mentoring junior engineers. It requires 5–10 years of hardware/mechanical engineering experience with strong CATIA V5 skills and a background in automotive, aerospace, defense or high-volume consumer electronics.

About Quantum Systems
Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company for unmanned systems across air, land and maritime domains. We develop and scale integrated hardware, software and AI-powered solutions for mission-critical operations. By combining autonomous platforms with intelligent software and AI, Quantum Systems enables customers to operate, understand and act across domains.
About the Role
Build the world's most advanced interceptor drones. We are redefining aerial defense. Our Counter‑UAS interceptor is a rocket‑boosted, all‑electric drone capable of 400 km/h, delivering 10 kW peak power through an in‑house developed powertrain. Designed from day one for mass production at scale, this platform represents a new class of high‑performance, modular UAV systems.
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to take this technological powerhouse from advanced prototype to tens of thousands of units produced globally.
