Optio

Marketing manager for SaaS

In short

Optio, a Customer Engagement/MarTech platform used by financial-sector companies in Georgia, is hiring its first full-time Marketing Manager to build the marketing function from scratch as it launches a SaaS version for SMBs. The role covers positioning, messaging, multi-channel campaigns, lead generation and CRM pipeline management, working directly with the founders. Requires B2B SaaS/tech product marketing experience, hands-on digital channel and analytics skills, and fluent written Georgian and English, based onsite in Tbilisi.

About Optio
Optio is a Customer Engagement platform used by large companies in the financial sector. It is an established, well-tested technology product developed over 7 years by a qualified team, and is already successfully used by Georgia's leading banks and insurance companies. We are now launching a SaaS version of the product, making it available to small and medium-sized businesses across various industries in Georgia and international markets.
We are looking for Optio's first full-time Marketing Manager, who will take full responsibility for how the product is positioned and explained to potential and existing clients, and help the sales team find potential clients (leads).
Responsibilities
•Define who our product is for, what problem we solve, and why we may be the best choice. This includes developing our messaging and positioning from scratch, conducting in-depth customer research based on research, interviews, and feedback from the sales team, and ensuring that everything we say across different channels reflects a unified and consistent vision.
•Plan and execute campaigns across different channels: digital media, email marketing, events, content, and the website.
•Manage the entire process: how leads are collected, how they are qualified as MQLs, and how they are passed to the business development team.
•Configure and manage the CRM (marketing pipeline), define qualified lead criteria in agreement with the sales team, and present reports on various metrics that show how effectively the marketing process is working.
•Create and update materials that help the business development team speed up processes and successfully close deals (presentations, demo videos, case studies).
•As Optio enters new markets, adapt messaging and materials to the context of the relevant market.
•Create the processes, reporting, and standards that this function will rely on.
•Prepare briefs as needed and lead freelancers, designers, or agencies, including on the brand refresh project.
Requirements
•Experience in B2B marketing (Product / Growth Marketing), specifically in SaaS or technology products.
•A proven track record of creating positioning from scratch and turning it into lead generation campaigns.
•Hands-on experience working with digital channels: email, social media, paid advertising (paid media), and marketing automation.
•Ability to work with customer data and analytics to segment audiences and measure campaign results.
•Resourceful, flexible, and independent, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and set priorities appropriately.
•Ability to understand a technology product and explain it in simple language to business buyers.
•Experience preparing briefs for and managing freelancers or agencies.
•Fluent written Georgian and English.
Conditions
•The opportunity to build the marketing function from scratch.
•Direct work with the founders and a real impact on the development of a MarTech product and the Go-to-Market process.
•Experience participating in international expansion beyond Georgia.
•Competitive compensation and benefits.
