What you will do
•Maintain Alpaquita Linux with current open-source component releases and develop compatibility patches.
•Create and maintain apk Linux packages.
•Support product and component quality and build the QA process.
•Develop infrastructure automation and tooling for release cycles and quality assurance.
•Support multiple Alpaquita Linux releases, including new platforms, features, and security patches.
•Manage on-premise and cloud-based product build environments.
Requirements
•BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
•Advanced experience with Linux or another Unix-like distribution, such as Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Alpine Linux, FreeBSD, or Solaris.
•Experience with Bash, Python, Ruby, and C.
•Experience with CI tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or Atlassian, and with Git or Mercurial.
•Basic computer networking knowledge.
•Intermediate English or higher required.
Nice to have
•Experience as a Linux package maintainer, Release Engineer, Software Tester, or DevOps engineer.
