Description
The team is developing a payment gateway that accepts funds from users on behalf of merchants and sends funds from merchants to users. The system stores user payment data, complies with PCI DSS, and integrates with payment systems, providers, gateways, and processors, including 3DS.
Responsibilities
•Develop payment integrations and services
•Automate and optimize integration processes
•Analyze external provider documentation, conduct rapid checks, and define epics and tasks based on Proof of Concept
•Participate in designing and developing high-load system architectures
•Support and improve existing solutions and services
•Write high-quality code covered by unit and integration tests
•Conduct code reviews
•Optimize system performance and database queries
•Analyze and resolve production incidents and bugs
•Process and resolve requests from technical support and users as part of daily duties
•Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the quality of delivered products
•Use AI tools to accelerate delivery of integration modules and create internal tools that generate integration code from business requirements
•Maintain technical documentation and write technical specifications
•Assist with onboarding new developers and ensure code quality
•Define and develop technical epics by analyzing existing solutions, identifying opportunities to improve architecture, performance, and reliability, preparing improvement proposals, and aligning them with the team lead and architect
•Participate in creating business epics by analyzing requirements, assessing feasibility, proposing alternative or optimized solutions, and collaborating with analysts and product managers on implementation approaches
•Prepare tasks based on approved epics, ensuring detail and alignment with architectural and business requirements
•Estimate task timelines, participate in sprint planning, and provide technical time and effort estimates
Requirements
•3+ years of commercial Kotlin development experience
•Experience with the Spring Framework
•Experience developing and integrating payment solutions, including billing, payment gateways, and payment processors
•Practical experience integrating with external payment providers
•Experience designing and optimizing relational databases (MySQL)
•Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis)
•Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Codeium
•Ability to critically review AI-generated code for production readiness and compliance with company standards
•Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture principles and experience with distributed messaging systems such as Apache Kafka
•Excellent command of software development and design principles, test-driven development (TDD), and CI/CD processes
•Solid understanding of microservice architecture
•English proficiency at B1 level or higher
