About the role
The Tacx App connects with Tacx indoor trainers across iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows. Its collection of real-life cycling videos serves thousands of users each month, supporting an all-season indoor cycling experience within the Garmin ecosystem.
Responsibilities
•Create an immersive indoor cycling experience using Swift and Swift UI
•Deliver high-quality features for each sprint with developers, designers, and testers
•Guide and support teams towards sprint goals
•Break down and refine development in close cooperation with the Product Owner
•Verify and address issues and bugs
•Explain complex technology matters in simple terminology
•Turn requirements into engaging and fun user experiences
•Identify process improvement opportunities and advocate for software development and team collaboration best practices
•Develop and maintain native iOS apps for Tacx indoor trainers and integrate them with Garmin Connect
•Support indoor cycling training devices and implement new features
Requirements
•Experience with iOS mobile development
•Experience with Swift and Swift UI
•Experience with MVVM design patterns and GitHub or Bitbucket with GitFlow
•Affinity with macOS development using Catalyst
•Excellent communication skills in English
•A team-player mindset, drive, curiosity, and a focus on continuous improvement
Nice to have
Android experience, knowledge of Bluetooth communication, OpenGL or Vulkan, gaming technology, CI tools such as Jenkins, and a passion for cycling and sports
