We are recruiting an IT Senior Project Manager to work for a client operating in the healthcare sector, public and/or private, in Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality, while working closely with healthcare stakeholders.
Responsibilities
•Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects from initiation to closure
•Act as the main point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare clients
•Define project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and mitigation strategies
•Monitor project performance and ensure successful delivery of agreed objectives
•Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams
•Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management
•Ensure compliance with best practices in project management
Requirements
•Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager
•Proven experience working with clients in the healthcare sector (public and/or private) – mandatory requirement (3 years or more)
•PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, Information Systems, or a related field, like Healthcare
•Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and/or agile)
•Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
•Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
