Responsibilities
•Contribute to the continual development and monitoring of compliance and information security practices
•Assist in the management of the Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO27001
•Assist in emerging compliance accreditations
•Assist in internal and external audit activities
•Implement and maintain governance policies and controls, making effective use of Microsoft Purview tooling
•Collect, correlate, and analyse data from various sources
•Monitor security alerts – including those related to suspected attacks, data loss prevention and exfiltration
•Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across Renishaw to align security and compliance posture, and to meet regulatory requirements
•Assist in the development and delivery of compliance and security training programs
•Be an ambassador across Renishaw for physical, procedural, compliance and technical security controls
•Treat all information you are exposed to with the highest confidentiality
•Join a highly collaborative Compliance and Information Security team
•Influence individuals and teams to adopt improving compliance and security practices, ensuring the safety and security of customers, partners and the business
•Have a network of contacts and resources to bring diverse approaches and ways of thinking
•Be excited about encouraging compliance and security innovation, culturally and across the technology stack, by engaging and collaborating with cross-functional teams
•Apply knowledge effectively in unfamiliar situations, rapidly absorbing and applying new information, and knowing when to seek specialist compliance and security knowledge or advice

•Be a strong communicator, in writing and verbally, to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements
•Location: Wotton-under-Edge. Hybrid working, 3 days/week on-site (please note: little to no public transport available)
•This role reports to the Governance Risk and Compliance Manager
•Gives an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of Renishaw's IT compliance and Quality
•Ideally an awareness of Microsoft Purview products
•Cloud security technologies and confident application of their capabilities, particularly Azure
•An understanding of ISO27001 and its implementation within Renishaw
•Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server will be advantageous
