Responsibilities
•Develop AI-powered products and own engineering across the end-to-end product development lifecycle
•Ensure the smooth operation of active products and help shape their future development
•Make informed technology choices, evaluate custom development against off-the-shelf solutions, and communicate, represent, and validate decisions
•Work with software engineers, data scientists, and UX/UI designers to understand user problems and needs and deliver suitable solutions
Requirements
•Completed vocational training in IT, a degree in computer science, or a comparable degree
•At least 5 years of backend software development experience, including experience with JavaScript or Python
•Knowledge of scalability, stateless and serverless approaches, and the ability to implement them
•Experience with relational databases, especially Postgres
•Understanding of NoSQL database concepts
•Familiarity with containers
•Very good written and spoken German and/or English
•Knowledge of cloud, Continuous Delivery, and Kubernetes
