The company is a Series A startup backed by 20VC and Singular that grew from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a team of over 100 people across Berlin and New York.
Responsibilities
•Take ownership of complex frontend features end-to-end, from scoping and architecture through polished delivery
•Build pixel-perfect, visually refined interfaces that match design specifications
•Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to turn ideas into elegant, performant user interfaces
•Maintain code quality, accessibility, and performance through reviews, testing, and best practices
•Evolve the frontend architecture, component library, and design system to support rapid iteration at scale
Requirements
•5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments
•Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern frontend tooling, with a track record of shipping high-quality user-facing products
•Experience contributing to, maintaining, or building a shared component library or design system
•Strong CSS knowledge and professional experience with TailwindCSS and semantic HTML
•Exceptional attention to visual detail and the ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect interfaces
•Strong communication skills, ownership, and autonomy while staying aligned with team goals
•Markers of excellence, which may be non-work-related, such as a high FIDE rating
•Kind, collaborative, and hardworking, with empathy and openness
Nice to have
•Experience with AI products, complex data-heavy UIs, or real-time applications
•Familiarity with Firebase/Firestore and efficient frontend–backend interfaces
•Strong architectural ability to design clean, scalable frontend systems
•Academic background in Computer Science or a related technical field
