About the company:
"Dreamland Oasis Chakvi" is Georgia's first premium-class resort and residential complex, located in the town of Chakvi, between the beautiful mountains of Adjara and the Black Sea coast. The complex brings together a premium-category hotel, residential apartments, and spaces designed for entertainment and relaxation.
Responsibilities:
•Plan and manage the company's financial and accounting policies.
•Develop and implement the financial department's documents (strategy, manuals and instructions, action plan, business processes).
•Participate, as appropriate to the position, in developing the company's annual action plan.
•Develop the company's accounting policy and ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
•Prepare annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
•Prepare and submit periodic reports to the company's senior management and founders in accordance with the standards established by the company.
•Develop a timeline-based plan to ensure the timely and accurate closing of the accounting period (financial year), and monitor implementation of the plan.
•Develop the annual budget plan based on information received from departments.
•Prepare the final version of the budget based on senior management recommendations and submit it to the Director for approval.
•Monitor implementation of the approved budget.
•Conduct monthly financial analysis of the performance of the company's various departments, review it, and prepare and submit relevant recommendations.
•Work to optimize costs.
•Control cash flow.
•Participate in selecting an international audit company, liaise with the selected company, and coordinate the work process.
•Monitor the implementation of relevant adjustments to the company's accounting records based on the results of the external audit.
•Review the external audit opinion and submit proposals to the management team for implementing acceptable recommendations.
•Ensure the integration of financial information with the ERP program.
•Coordinate relations with financial and insurance institutions.
•Ensure that financial operations comply with legislation.
•Ensure periodic inventory checks of fixed assets, monitor the results, and issue relevant recommendations.
•Control supplies and respond to the accumulation of inefficient inventory by informing the relevant persons.
•Periodically analyze the activities carried out by the department.
•Define the duties and responsibilities of subordinate employees and allocate them effectively.
•Support the development of subordinate employees' qualifications and assist with the onboarding process when a new employee is hired.
•Based on monitoring and evaluating employees' performance, initiate relevant decisions with the company's HR department and the company's Director.
Requirements:
•Higher education in finance and/or economics.
•At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office is essential.
•Logical and analytical thinking skills, team management skills, and the ability to set priorities correctly and manage time.
•The Financial Director should be responsible, collegial, and organized.
Nice to have:
•Conversational knowledge of Russian and English is desirable.
