About the Role
Amazon's Prime Video team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the EMEA operational accounting activities of Prime Video.
Responsibilities
•Supporting aspects of our accounting and reporting process
•End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners
•Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities
•Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results
•Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues
Requirements
•The ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, with a strong ability to prioritise multiple projects and execute deliverables with excellent communication and to a high standard
•The ability to influence stakeholders will also be essential to succeed in this role
•Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
•Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
•ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar credentials required
•Experience of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with a knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS
