About the Role
Harmonic are partnering with a profitable, privately owned technology business to hire a Finance Manager. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, a supportive Director of Finance & Operations invested in your development, and genuine flexibility, with just one day a week in the office.
Responsibilities
•Month end with the external bookkeepers and accountants, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
•Intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and recharges across the group
•Year end, VAT returns and tax efficiencies, working with external accountants and advisors
•Accounts payable end to end, monthly payroll and statutory submissions such as P11Ds
•Finance systems and controls, starting with selecting and rolling out a new expense management system
•Automated workflows and people operations, including onboarding, benefits and insurance renewals
Requirements
•Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
•Industry experience in a startup or scale-up, ideally in a small, hands-on finance team
•Comfortable owning projects end to end
•Real examples of using technology or AI to improve a process
Nice to Have
•Operations experience alongside finance, and familiarity with Xero, Slack or Zapier, a plus

•£60,000 - £70,000 plus generous bonus
