Responsibilities
•Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
•Monitor key financial and operational KPIs across portfolio companies
•Support the preparation of Board and shareholder reporting materials
•Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial information
•Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
•Perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers
•Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions
•Review portfolio companies' financial performance and identify risks and improvement opportunities
•Support portfolio company management teams in enhancing financial planning, reporting, and control processes
•Strengthen financial controls and reporting standards across the portfolio
•Coordinate external audits and support audit processes
•Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
•Support financial due diligence for potential investments and acquisitions
•Assist with valuation analyses, financial reviews, and post-investment performance tracking
•Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as required
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
•3–4 years of relevant experience in Finance, Audit, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, or Investment Management
•Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills
•Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
•Excellent communication skills in English and Azerbaijani
Nice to have
•Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification (completed or in progress)
•Experience working with investment companies, holding structures, or portfolio businesses
•Knowledge of IFRS and financial consolidation processes
