Rulemapping develops an open standard for digital law using a Law as Code approach. Its decision models make the logic of laws and regulations machine-readable while leaving decisions to people. Responsibilities:
•Prepare the accounting function for growth together with the Accounting Manager, then develop controlling activities with the Director of Finance & Legal
•Check incoming and outgoing invoices against company policies and serve as a contact for the tax advisory firm alongside the Accounting Manager
•Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for all group entities, including intercompany reconciliations
•Analyze revenue and costs through plan-versus-actual comparisons and investigate variances
•Manage cash flow planning, monthly reporting, and forecasting; contribute to budget planning
•Define standard processes for document flows, approvals, and filing, and establish controls to detect errors early
•Track figures for funded projects through audit-ready proof of fund use
•Build project and sales controlling together with Sales and Delivery
Requirements:
•2–3 Years of accounting experience
•Knowledge of DATEV and sound knowledge of HGB
•Demonstrated experience establishing and implementing processes
•Strong compliance awareness and a structured, careful working style
•Initial controlling experience or a clear desire to grow in this area
•Advanced Excel skills and the ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement them independently using digital tools, automation, or AI
•A completed degree in business administration, ideally specializing in accounting, finance, or controlling
•Very good German and good English skills
