About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance & Tax Manager to join our growing business, specializing in fruit imports and distribution. Previous experience in the fruit industry is a strong requirement. We are looking for a highly qualified professional with excellent financial and tax expertise, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of the financial specifics of fruit import and wholesale distribution.
Responsibilities
•Manage the company's financial operations, accounting, and tax compliance.
•Oversee tax declarations, statutory reporting, and compliance with local legislation.
•Manage cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
•Monitor accounts payable and receivable and maintain accurate financial records.
•Control import-related expenses, supplier payments, and product cost calculations.
•Analyze profit margins, operating expenses, and financial performance.
•Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax authorities, suppliers, and external accounting partners.
•Develop financial reports and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements
•Proven professional experience in the fruit import, wholesale, or distribution industry.
•Strong background in finance, accounting, and taxation.
•Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani tax legislation and accounting requirements.
•Fluent English and Russian are mandatory.
•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently and manage financial processes effectively.
