Description
The role supports a strategically important gateretail customer account, managing its profitability, costs, revenue development, assortment performance, and shared P&L in collaboration with the airline customer.
Responsibilities
•Oversee two FTEs, including performance management and workload planning
•Manage the finance function for a strategic customer P&L
•Prepare monthly reports and facilitate review meetings with relevant stakeholders
•Lead commercial discussions with the customer alongside the account director
•Build collaborative relationships across the business and with the customer to improve timely communication of key information
•Manage the customer relationship from the finance side and maintain a strong partnership
•Lead finance support for contract extension discussions and assist the account director with negotiating future contractual terms and conditions
•Partner with business and finance teams to create and submit commercial initiatives
•Ensure targets are met when launching new product ranges, working closely with category managers and providing commercial direction throughout the process
•Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts
•Analyze the contract profit centre monthly and review variances against budgets and forecasts
•Provide analysis and commentary on actual performance versus targets for the customer
•Support monthly balance sheet reconciliations
•Lead stock reconciliations alongside the stock controller
•Prepare intercompany recharge invoices and third-party accruals
•Ensure internal controls are followed in daily work
•Work with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate coding and processing of relevant invoices
•Perform multi-currency reconciliations
•Maintain relevant records and support external and internal audits
•Continuously improve processes, models, forms, and templates for P&L review and reporting
•Lead the enhancement and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards, and systems
•Provide ad hoc support for other finance projects as required
Requirements
•7 years of relevant finance experience, including reviewing balance sheet and P&L reports and analyzing trends
•Experience with intercompany reconciliation
•Knowledge of relevant accounting terms and concepts
•Experience preparing forecasts and budgets
•Good understanding of business strategy and methodology
•Excellent verbal and written English skills
•Candidates must have the right to live and work in Serbia
Nice to have
•Master's degree in Business, Economics, Math, or Engineering
•ACCA/CIMA or local accounting qualification
•SAP and HFM experience
•Exposure to multi-currency FX calculations
•Understanding of International Accounting Standards
