Responsibilities:
•Weekly and monthly reporting: PL and cash flow, margin analysis, cost structure analysis, working capital;
•Business planning, budgeting, rolling forecasts and management reporting, budget limit control;
•Group reporting and interaction with headquarters — reporting, ad-hoc analysis and alignment; reconciliation of local statutory results to Group (IFRS) management reporting;
•Leading the controlling team as a working player-coach: setting the technical standard and doing the work alongside them;
•Analytical decision-support (economic modelling, scenario analysis, alternatives comparison, etc.).
Requirements:
•5+ years of leadership experience in Economics / Finance functions — in a hands-on, personally-doing-the-analysis capacity rather than a purely supervisory one;
•Background in large industrial, agribusiness, commodities or distribution companies is a plus;
•Deep knowledge of management accounting and economic analysis methods; ability to see the story behind the numbers;
•Strong financial modelling skills;
•Portuguese or Spanish — a strong plus.
