Responsibilities
•Design, implement, and optimize GCP cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt)
•Define architecture and standards for multi-environment and multi-project environments, and build and develop a Landing Zone
•Plan and deliver migrations of applications and systems from on-premises to the cloud, including transformation to GCP-native models
•Create reference architecture and self-service systems/Internal Developer Platform (Backstage.io)
•Provide technical consulting and support pre-sales and solution design processes
•Analyze clients' business and technology needs to identify optimal cloud strategies
Requirements
•Several years of experience in cloud projects, including designing and launching production GCP environments
•Knowledge of Terraform and ability to design modules and IaC pipelines at organizational architecture level
•Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
•Understanding of scalable and secure cloud environment design, including IAM, networking, monitoring, and HA
•Practical knowledge of a programming language: JavaScript, Python, Go, or Bash
•Ability to lead technical discussions with clients and explain complex topics in business-friendly terms
•Google Cloud Professional Architect/DevOps Engineer certification, or equivalent AWS/Azure certification
Nice to Have
•Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification or equivalent AWS/Azure certification
•Hybrid or multi-cloud architecture experience
•Ansible or Pulumi
•Application modernization projects (cloud-native/replatforming/refactoring)
•Contributions to project estimates
