Develop at Ubisoft - Game Design Mentorship 2026-2027

In short

Ubisoft's Develop at Ubisoft is a Game Design mentorship program (not a hiring process) for students and recent graduates with under two years of experience, running January–May 2027. Mentees pitch a game design project and are guided by volunteer Ubisoft developers, with the program specifically supporting underrepresented genders (female and nonbinary) in gaming and STEM. Applicants must be at least 18, legally entitled to work in their chosen application country, and apply individually to one of the listed studio locations.

About
Ubisoft is a global leader in gaming with teams across the world creating original and memorable gaming experiences, from Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, to Just Dance and more. We believe diverse perspectives help both players and teams thrive.
About the Program
Develop at Ubisoft is a mentorship program for students and recent graduates (with less than two years of experience) looking to grow their skills in Game Design, Audio, Programming, or Cybersecurity. This initiative supports individuals from genders historically underrepresented in gaming and STEM. Develop at Ubisoft is one of several talent programs Ubisoft offers to engage and support different audiences across the industry.
Please note: this program is a mentorship program and is not tied to any hiring process.
From January to May 2027, selected mentees will work on a project based on a given theme. They will be mentored by volunteer Ubisoft developers, including from Ubisoft's mobile studios, who will provide feedback and guidance throughout the mentorship to help them develop their own personal project.
In the Game Design track, you will pitch a design outlining your intentions and how it will impact player experience, as well as follow the production journey of a Game Designer at Ubisoft.
