Responsibilities
•Design and deliver enterprise-level data solutions from project discovery through prototyping and architectural design to delivery
•Build Microsoft Fabric data solutions that help businesses gain greater insight into their data
•Deliver data products and platforms for reporting, analytics, and AI using Microsoft Fabric
•Meet internal and external customer expectations and requirements to deliver value
•Support others in their development
•Contribute to the Telefónica Tech UK&I Data & AI internal and external community
Requirements
•Strategic and operational decision-making skills

•Involvement in architectural decisions for data solutions
•Interest in using AI to solve business problems
•Experience using Microsoft Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks, and Lakehouse/Warehouses
•Confidence writing SQL and Python code
•Understanding of capacity management, including throttling, overage, and scaling
•Understanding of metadata-driven data platforms, Data Lakehouse architecture, Git and version control, data modelling, Data Warehouse Theory, and AI-driven development
Nice to have
•Exposure to Microsoft Fabric User Data Functions, Environments, OneLake Catalog and Governance, Fabric CLI, Data Agents, and Fabric Apps
•Understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, BICEP, Azure Networking, and Infrastructure
•DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification
