About the Role
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure. As an IT Datacenter Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure within our data center.
Responsibilities
•Monitor and support the IT infrastructure as a shift worker (day & night shifts)
•Diagnose and resolve issues related to server and network hardware within the data center
•Perform installation, upgrades, and decommissioning of IT hardware in accordance with operational requirements
•Manage and maintain fiber optic and patch cable connectivity
•Handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in compliance with company procedures and documentation
•Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues
•Maintain and update documentation, manuals, and procedures related to hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Requirements
•Solid understanding of server and networking equipment
•Practical, hands-on experience with server hardware, network switches, and fiber optic cabling
•Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues
•A proactive, responsible, and results-driven work attitude
Nice to Have
•Valid Category B driving license
•Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system and familiarity with command-line tools
