Responsibilities
•Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for data-focused projects, including new reports, dashboards, and data transformations.
•Translate business objectives and metrics into clear, comprehensive functional and technical specifications for Data Engineers and BI Developers.
•Define and document data quality standards and acceptance criteria for data deliverables.
•Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business stakeholders and technical development teams.
•Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the defined business requirements and data standards.
Requirements
•3+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role with a strong focus on data, reporting, or BI projects.
•Proven ability to successfully elicit, document, and manage requirements using various techniques (e.g., user stories, process flows, wireframes).
•Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage expectations across different organizational levels.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of structuring and simplifying complex data challenges.
Nice to have
•Practical knowledge and ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries for data validation, exploration, and troubleshooting.
•Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
•Professional fluency (B2+) in French is highly valued and may be a mandatory requirement for allocation on specific projects with Francophone clients (in Portugal or abroad).
