Responsibilities
•Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud platforms
•Integrate and manage diverse data sources, ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility for analytics and ML use cases
•Design and maintain cloud-native data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse) that scale with business needs
•Develop data processing solutions using Spark / PySpark in distributed environments
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient, scalable data solutions
•Support analytics use cases by enabling data consumption for reporting, dashboards, and visualization tools
•Stay up to date with modern data platform technologies and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement of the data ecosystem
Requirements
•6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering roles
•Strong expertise in dimensional modeling with hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale Kimball, Star Schema, and Data Vault solutions
•Proven experience designing modern Lakehouse architectures and Medallion data platforms
•Deep hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, dbt, SQL, and Python
•Strong knowledge of Azure data services, including ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and related ecosystem components
•Experience building scalable semantic models for BI, analytics, and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
•Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
•Experience defining architecture standards, reviewing technical designs, and leading architectural governance processes
•Ability to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders and translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
•Strong understanding of distributed data processing, performance optimization, and cloud-native architecture patterns
•English B2+ with confidence presenting architectural solutions to international stakeholders
Nice to have
•Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Databricks, or equivalent cloud certifications will be a plus
