About the Role
Our client is a global consultancy looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join one of their clients on a full-time contract (8 hours per day, 5 days per week).
Requirements
•Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and Unity Catalog.
•Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, metadata-driven frameworks, and orchestration workflows.
•Expertise in data quality, performance tuning, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
•Strong analytical skills, ownership, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
•Ability to collaborate with architects and business stakeholders, ensure data governance and security.
•Effective communication in English (B2+).
Conditions
•This position will be paying up to €32 per hour.
•Full remote, must be based in the EU.
•Initial contract 3-6 months with high likelihood of extension.
•Must have right to work in the EU without needing sponsorship.
