About the Role
We're looking for a Data Engineer / Data Architect to join Plus8Soft. You'll need strong enterprise Azure experience and a proven track record of designing the data layer behind production GenAI / RAG / Agentic AI applications.
Main Responsibilities
•Own enterprise data architecture and modernization of existing Azure platforms.
•Design how enterprise data and knowledge are ingested, prepared, stored, governed and made available for retrieval and AI consumption.
•Design scalable, metadata-driven ingestion for structured and unstructured data.
•Define data models and architecture ready for implementation.
Must-Have Experience
•Deep enterprise Azure Data Architecture expertise, particularly with Azure Cosmos DB and strong, recent Azure Synapse Analytics project experience.
•Real production experience designing the data architecture supporting RAG / GenAI / Agentic AI applications, with clear personal ownership demonstrated in your CV.
•Experience with data modelling, platform modernization, unstructured data and scalable ingestion.
•Ability to explain your architectural decisions, the Synapse capabilities you personally used, and how you prepared data for retrieval.
Technology Stack
Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server, T-SQL, Azure Data Lake / Lakehouse architecture and Azure Functions.
