Data Analyst (Strategy & Data Analytics)

In short

Entry-level Data Analyst role at FUJIFILM's Biologics manufacturing site in Hillerød, Denmark, defining KPI standards and building dashboards from MES, ERP, QMS and IoT data to support Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain. Posted by a large biotech CDMO; the role requires onsite presence (hybrid flexibility possible) and reports to the Manager, Strategy & Executive Support. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, 0–2 years of experience, comfort with a BI tool like Power BI/Tableau/Looker, and English proficiency.

About the Role
Kick-start your analytics career where data meets real-world impact. As a Data Analyst at our manufacturing site in Denmark, you'll help define and standardize KPIs, build decision-ready dashboards, and turn shopfloor and supply chain data into clear actions. You'll work with Operations, Quality, Financial, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, and partner with Data Engineering to ensure trusted, production-grade datasets. Your work will support improvements in throughput, quality, safety, and cost for our site in Hillerød.
Responsibilities
•Define and socialize KPI standards (e.g., yield, first-pass quality, scrap, downtime, throughput, on-time delivery), including assumptions and calculation logic.
•Translate plant and business questions into structured hypotheses and analyses that drive decisions.
•Analyze trends and root causes using data from MES, ERP, QMS, and sensor/IoT sources to identify improvement opportunities.
•Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leaders and supervisors (e.g., production performance, line reliability, quality trends, bottlenecks).
•Validate data end-to-end, reconcile against definitions and expected patterns, and document limitations.
•Summarize insights with clear "so what / now what" recommendations for daily/weekly ops reviews.
•Partner with Data Engineering to shape reliable datasets, flag gaps and quality issues, and improve data pipelines.
•Engage stakeholders across shifts to prioritize requests, communicate progress, and maximize value delivered.
•Contribute to reporting governance such as retire redundant reports, promote certified sources, and reduce KPI conflicts.
•Support cross-functional CI/Lean and strategic projects.
You value clarity and trust in metrics, not just visuals. You balance analytical rigor with practical delivery in a fast-paced production setting. You tailor insights to your audience—from the shop floor to site leadership—and you ask great questions.
You will report to the Manager, Strategy & Executive Support. Regular onsite presence at our Hillerød site is required. Hybrid flexibility is available in agreement with your manager.

•Defined a KPI or metric and explained the logic, or
•Built a dashboard/report and generated a decision or action, or
•Investigated a trend/root cause using real or simulated data.
If you have GitHub/Power BI/Tableau Public work, feel free to include links.
