Content Marketing

In short

Jitter is looking for its first dedicated content marketer to own the company's narrative, set editorial strategy, and build a content and distribution engine that grows reach across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, newsletters and communities. The role is onsite in Paris at a fast-growing AI-powered motion design startup used by over 150,000 creators monthly, including teams at Amazon, Monzo and Perplexity. It requires 5+ years in content, brand or marketing communications, exceptional written English, a proven track record of growing an audience with real signup/engagement numbers, and AI-native content workflows. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus stock options (BSPCE), with relocation support if needed.

Mission: Make motion design accessible to all designers and creative teams.
Ambition: Become the leading platform to create animated content at scale.
tl;dr
•🤝 You'll be the first content marketer at Jitter, owning how we tell our story to the world
•✍️ You are a hands-on writer and audience builder: great taste, an AI-native way of working, and a track record of making content spread
•📍 Based in Paris (in-person) – relocation packages if needed
•🇬🇧 We're an international team and work in English
•💰 Competitive base salary based on experience + Stock options / BSPCE
Responsibilities
You'll be the first dedicated content marketer at Jitter. Today the company dramatically under-communicates what it's building and the value Jitter unlocks for creative teams. Your mission is to change that: own the narrative and build the content and distribution engine that grows reach by an order of magnitude.
•Own the story. Sharpen messaging and tone of voice with the founders, and become the permanent owner of how Jitter talks to the world.
•Set the editorial strategy. Decide what the company says, when, and where. Own the content calendar, product launch communications, and the wording of product updates.
•Ship at a high cadence. Write, publish, experiment, and analyze results yourself. Take the company from a couple of posts a week to a steady, much higher cadence, without dropping the bar on quality.
•Make it spread. Grow the audience across channels through organic distribution, community, and partnerships, and help the team amplify Jitter through their own voices.
•Direct the craft. Brief and partner with the motion designer and agencies to make every piece visually exceptional.
•Measure what matters. Set up a recurring content performance review and focus on what drives signups, not vanity metrics.
First 30 days: sharpened messaging and tone of voice agreed with the founders, you own publishing, and there's a clear plan to scale cadence.
By 60 days: publishing at a much higher cadence, running with little outside input, and shaping how product updates, customer stories, etc. are named and presented.
By 90 days: a repeatable engine — formats that work and at least one launch that broke out.
In year one: a step-change in reach, several breakout posts, and social becoming a meaningful source of Jitter signups.
Requirements
You are an outstanding writer with great taste and a proven ability to grow an audience. You know why some posts spread and others disappear, you can turn a product feature into a story people want to share, and you speak the language of designers and creative teams. You don't wait for a content strategy to be handed to you: you shape it, ship it, measure it, and iterate.
•5+ years of experience in content, brand or marketing communications, ideally at a fast-moving startup that made far more noise than its size. Talent and results matter more than years on a CV.
•Exceptional written English. Sharp hooks, clarity, and a voice that never sounds corporate or written by committee.
•You've grown an audience yourself — for a brand, a product or your own personal brand — and can show what worked, why, and the numbers behind it (signups and real engagement, not just followers and likes).
•You know each platform and how to adapt a story to LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, newsletters and communities.
•Great taste: compelling stories, well-designed visuals, and the judgment to avoid chasing every trend.
•Creative fluency: you understand designers and creative workflows, and can brief and give precise feedback to a motion designer.
•AI-native: you've built real AI-powered workflows (beyond chatting with an assistant) to multiply your output without compromising quality.
•Strategic judgment: you can challenge and sharpen positioning and build a narrative that resonates with everyone from solo designers to global brands.
•Highly autonomous, comfortable with broad direction, and energized by a fast, scrappy environment.
Big pluses: experience in design or creative tools, coordinating creators and partners, employee advocacy, or a successful Product Hunt launch.
Conditions & Benefits
You'll be joining a fast-moving, experimental environment where it's safe to try, fail, learn, and build again. It's a small, ambitious, and kind team with a high talent density across disciplines, operating with the focus and output of a 40+ person company. The team brings strong creative convictions and deep experience from world-class institutions like Apple, Google, GoPro, Slack, Y Combinator, Stanford, Polytechnique, École Centrale, and more.
More specifically:
•Jitter serves hundreds of thousands of monthly active users, received a Design Tool of the Year award on Product Hunt, and its Figma plugin has more than 430k installs — the largest standalone animation plugin on Figma Community.
•Work with an audience of world-class creatives, with teams at Google, DEPT, Spotify, AKQA, The New York Times, LVMH and more already using Jitter.
•Build a creative duo: you'll be the founding half of the content team, working alongside a dedicated motion designer.
•Grow with the company: Jitter is planning to double the team by the end of 2026; this role can grow into broader marketing leadership, with mentorship and opportunity.
•Use the tools of a real studio: an in-house content studio fully equipped with pro gear, with room for a design podcast, brand events, merch drops and creative partnerships.
•Work from the 500m² flagship studio in the heart of Le Marais, Paris, surrounded by cafés, art galleries and emerging brands; it hosts monthly events.
Benefits:
•Competitive base salary based on experience
•Employee-friendly stock options / BSPCE (extended exercise window)
•Relocation package (if needed)
•5 weeks of paid vacation
•Health insurance (for you and your family)
•Parental leave
•Office setup of your choice
•Regular team events and offsites
•High-impact work where your voice truly matters
