About the Role
KPMG is seeking a motivated Consultant (Executive) to join our Transaction Services team within Deal Advisory in Almaty or Astana. In this role, you will be involved in transaction-related projects, supporting clients in making informed business decisions through financial analysis, due diligence, and other advisory services. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to a variety of transactions involving local and international clients.
Responsibilities
•Work as part of an interdisciplinary team on complex Transaction Services assignments
•Support engagement planning and project management activities
•Communicate with clients and collect relevant financial and business information
•Conduct detailed financial analysis and assess financial performance
•Analyze financial data, identify key findings, and prepare reports
•Participate in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients
Requirements
•Have 1–3 years of relevant experience in Audit or Transaction Services, or in a finance/accounting department of a company
•Have a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another relevant field, with a strong academic background
•Have knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS
•Have excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
•Are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
•Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills
•Are able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Nice to Have
•Big4 experience is a plus
•Currently pursuing ACCA or have an interest in professional certification
•Experience using AI tools in your work
