About the Role
Run. Improve. Pioneer. Resolving an incident is sometimes the job. Making sure the same incident does not happen again is where engineering begins. At Rapid Circle, you work as a Senior Cloud Engineer on business-critical Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. You solve complex problems, implement changes and keep customer environments healthy. But that is not where it ends.
Responsibilities
•You investigate complex incidents.
•You implement changes, improve monitoring, build a PowerShell solution or work with an architect on a structural improvement to a customer environment.
•You oversee complex technical environments and take the lead when needed.
•You help determine how we can make customer environments structurally more stable, secure and efficient.
•You take responsibility for what you come across. Not just to close a ticket, but to leave the environment better than you found it.
•You recognize opportunities for improvement, bring colleagues along in your approach and help put new ways of working into practice.
•You actively share your knowledge and contribute to the team's technical development.
Requirements
•You have extensive hands-on experience with Azure and/or Microsoft 365 and understand how complex cloud environments fit together.
•You have thorough knowledge of topics such as Entra ID, networking, security and modern workplace technology.
•You can analyze complex incidents, support technical decisions with sound reasoning and deliver structural improvements.
•You have experience with PowerShell and automation and can identify opportunities to organize recurring tasks more intelligently.
•You are interested in Infrastructure as Code, observability and the possibilities of AI in cloud operations.
•You take technical responsibility, maintain an overview and help colleagues with complex questions.
•You want to know why something went wrong. You ask follow-up questions when a solution does not feel logical.
•You recognize when a manual task should actually be automated.
•You know when to take the technical lead yourself or involve the expertise of others.
•You have a strong technical foundation and are used to taking responsibility for complex Microsoft environments.
•We expect you to be able to get to the bottom of complex problems, take responsibility and help others become technically better.
