Tasks
•Design, develop, and maintain an event-driven integration platform
•Build solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Event Hubs, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Function Apps
•Develop and maintain components based on Kafka Connect and AKS
•Analyze business and technical requirements and select suitable integration patterns and Azure services
•Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
•Create and maintain Terraform infrastructure configurations
•Automate solution build, testing, and deployment processes
•Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
•Deploy and maintain containerized applications and services on Azure Kubernetes Service
•Use GitOps and ArgoCD to deploy applications on Kubernetes
•Monitor the platform, analyze issues, and troubleshoot production environments
Requirements
•Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure
•Practical experience with Azure Integration Services
•Strong knowledge of several Azure services, including Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage
•Strong knowledge of Terraform
•Experience creating and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
•Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
•Knowledge of Kubernetes components: Pods, Deployments, Services, and Ingress
•Experience deploying applications on AKS
•Knowledge of Docker and container images
•Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
•Ability to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
•Knowledge of Azure CLI
•Knowledge of some programming and scripting technologies: TypeScript / JavaScript, Python, and Bash / Shell Scripting
•Knowledge of Azure Networking, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, Private Link, DNS, and Private DNS Zones
•Knowledge of Azure security, including IAM, RBAC, Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID
•Knowledge of Secure-by-Design and Zero Trust principles
Nice to have
•Experience with Kafka Connect
•Knowledge of Java, especially for creating or developing Kafka Connectors
•Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD
•Experience integrating applications running on AKS with Azure Integration Services and other Azure PaaS services
