About the role
As a Mid Backend Engineer, you will design and implement features end to end with increasing autonomy. You will work in a real high-availability environment with our stack: Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ and AWS.
Responsibilities
•Technical design and autonomous deployment of features.
•Optimize a platform that processes thousands of bookings daily.
•Lead advanced testing initiatives (TDD, BDD) and reduce technical debt.
•Integrate Claude Code and GitHub Copilot into your day-to-day work.
Requirements
•+3 years of experience developing with Java/Kotlin.
•Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
•Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis.
•Design of REST APIs and asynchronous/event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ or similar).
•Regular use of Clean Code, SOLID, Pull Requests and CI/CD pipelines.
•Monitoring and structured logging (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
•Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
Nice to have
•Experience with Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch or integrating systems with AI (MCP).
•Previous experience in the hotel industry (PMS or booking platforms).
