Responsibilities
•Design and build backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
•Build integrations with logistics providers for shipping, tracking, fulfillment, and webhooks
•Use AI-assisted development in the engineering workflow, validating changes through code reviews and automated tests
•Design reliable asynchronous workflows with AWS SNS/SQS, including retries, DLQs, and idempotent processing
•Design and optimize PostgreSQL queries, transactions, and data models
•Own features end-to-end, from specifications and API contracts through implementation, testing, and production
Requirements
•Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript
•Strong NestJS experience
•Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations and webhooks
•Solid understanding of AWS SNS/SQS and asynchronous systems
•Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills
•Experience with spec-driven, AI-assisted development
•Strong engineering judgment and ownership
Nice to have
•Logistics or e-commerce experience
•Observability experience
•Familiarity with DDD or hexagonal architecture
