Responsibilities
•Design and build backend systems that power the product
•Design robust backends and model complex business processes into elegant data structures
•Build reliable integrations between modern and legacy systems
•Develop APIs connecting disparate business systems
•Deliver secure, scalable, maintainable solutions for payments and financial data, prioritizing long-term reliability over quick fixes
Requirements
•Five or more years of programming in Python and/or two or more years of experience with Django
•Expertise in the Django framework
•Experience building and maintaining large-scale applications
•Excellent database design and optimization skills, including complex data modeling and migrations
•Understanding of APIs and web services
•A portfolio demonstrating systematic, well-structured work
•Clear written communication skills
Nice to have
•Django REST Framework
•AWS experience
Conditions
The role is fully remote worldwide; an office in central London is available as an alternative.
