JetBrains develops developer tools that automate routine checks and corrections, helping developers work faster and create software more effectively. ThinkRail is an open-source alpha project within JetBrains' Innovation Hub that develops a declarative programming language and infrastructure for AI-spec-driven development.
Задачи
•Build and evolve ThinkRail's developer tooling, including VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA plugins
•Develop the language server, including analysis, completion, diagnostics, and verification
•Improve the evaluator that turns specs into code and detects spec-code drift
•Integrate ThinkRail with AI agent frameworks and protocols such as Koog, LangGraph, Spring AI, MCP, and ACP
•Work closely with the founder and help shape technical decisions as the product evolves
Требования
•Senior backend or full-stack engineering experience
•Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex problems
•Strong engineering fundamentals
•Experience working with TypeScript or comparable language background
•Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team with a high degree of autonomy
•Nice to have: experience with developer tools, DSLs, static analysis, LSP, editor plugins, or AI agents
