Задачи
•Build server-side validation for the game metagame, including currency, card upgrades, chest opens, and progression, by replicating economy and reward logic on the server in stages based on risk
•Move competitive features toward server authority, with trusted game state maintained in one place
•Design APIs and player-state management for integration with the Unity client, and help define the division of responsibilities between client and server
•Work cross-functionally from infrastructure and API design through coding and client-side integration
•Collaborate with client developers and game designers from feature design through delivery, validation, and iteration
•Build the server-side foundation to transition Castle Busters from a client-authoritative game to a competitive, server-validated game
Требования
•7+ Years of backend development experience
•Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
•At least 1 year of professional Golang experience and extreme fluency in Golang
•Mastery of SQL and NoSQL
•Experience with high-scale systems
•Understanding of Unix-like environments
•Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
•Strong analytical skills and a track record of solving complex scalability, performance, and integration problems in high-stakes environments
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and work effectively with stakeholders
•Ability to work autonomously and be self-sufficient
•Nice to have: a deep interest in game development
