What does this profession involve?
•As a trainee in IT specialist training, you learn everything needed to keep a company's IT running
•Once trained, you advise on purchasing PCs or software, but also configure, install and maintain entire systems and networks
•You will be deployed as an all-rounder, and colleagues from other departments or customers will ask for your help with technical problems
•As an IT expert, you are able to provide technical support to users who urgently need your help - explained quickly, flexibly and straightforwardly
•IT specialists also frequently conduct user training, passing on their knowledge in a simple and understandable way
What is the focus of our training?
•The focus of system integration is on realizing, operating and managing customer-specific information and communication solutions
•You will learn to install and configure client-server architectures with attention to data security
•You will also be responsible for the administration of IT systems and thus for their proper functioning
What you bring:
•You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your intermediate school certificate (mittlere Reife) or a higher school qualification
•Natural sciences and technology are your favorite subjects, and your performance in them is correspondingly good
•You already have experience with PCs and other IT systems, whether in your free time or at school
•You recognize IT problems in particular, find solutions, and work carefully
•As a team player, you are willing to approach others, show commitment, and take initiative
•Your German language skills are very good, and ideally your English skills are good as well
Facts about the training:
•Training duration: 3 years - a reduction to 2.5 years is possible with very good performance
•Training start: September 2027
•Application deadline: approximately 2 months before the training start
•The training combines the fields of the Oberstufenzentrum für Informations- und Medizintechnik and operational practice, offering a perfect combination of theory and practice
•Together, we lay the foundation for further qualification as an IT specialist as well as for an operational or strategic IT professional, potentially including further studies at a university
