We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to work on the collection, processing, transformation, and analysis of data, supporting the construction of pipelines, queries, reports, and dashboards to support business areas.
The person will work in a cloud data environment, primarily with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), using technologies such as BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer, as well as tools like Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, and Azure DevOps.
Main Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain queries using SQL, mainly in BigQuery.
•Support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes (ETL/ELT).
•Assist in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines.
•Work with Apache Airflow / Google Cloud Composer in workflow orchestration.
•Support data processing and transformation using Dataproc / Apache Spark.
•Perform validation, treatment, and analysis of data quality.
•Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and indicators in Power BI.
•Support initiatives using Microsoft Fabric.
•Work with data services and environments in Google Cloud and AWS.
•Use Azure DevOps for tracking activities, versioning, and processes related to the development cycle.
•Document queries, pipelines, business rules, and processes related to data.
•Work together with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, BI, and business areas.
What We Are Expecting
•Completed or ongoing higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Systems Analysis, Data Science, or related fields.
•Initial experience, internship, academic or professional projects involving data, BI, or data engineering.
•Good analytical capacity and logical reasoning.
•Interest in working with Cloud and Data Engineering/Analysis.
•Organization and attention to data quality.
•Ease in learning new technologies.
•Good communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
