About the Role
An international, regulated online financial services group is looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to take machine learning models from development to reliable production, and to set up the MLOps, monitoring and governance practices around them. You will work with Data Engineering, Product, Risk and Commercial teams and turn business problems into AI solutions with measurable impact. We are looking for someone who has personally shipped and maintained models in production and can explain what they built, how it was monitored, and what it achieved.
Responsibilities
•Take ML models from development through to stable production deployment
•Build and own MLOps practices: experiment tracking, CI/CD, monitoring, drift and stability checks
•Work with large datasets in Spark / PySpark and SQL
•Define evaluation methods and guard against issues such as data leakage and model drift
•Partner with Data Engineering, Product, Risk and Commercial teams to deliver measurable business results
•Lead by example on engineering quality and ML governance
Requirements
•5–8+ years of production ML engineering experience
•Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
•Strong ML fundamentals: evaluation, feature engineering, leakage, drift and stability
•Hands-on Spark / PySpark
•Experience with MLflow or an equivalent tool
•Experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions
•Strong SQL and experience with large-scale datasets
•Proven delivery of production AI/ML solutions with measurable business impact
•Fluent English
This role is not suited to research-only or notebook-only profiles, or to data analyst profiles without production deployment experience.
