About the Role
Continuing our journey towards a truly global consulting organization, with our region at the forefront of cross-border collaboration and smart delivery, a Europe West Tech Hub is being established in Portugal, focusing on leading-edge Data and AI capabilities which are on-strategy for Consulting and another essential star in the constellation of the regional Technology Consulting hub-and-spoke model. The Tech Hub acts as a provider of subject matter expertise, solid strategy, solution architecture design and delivery capabilities to local teams in all Europe West markets, from the early stages of demand generation and pursuit leadership, all the way through to delivery and support.
Responsibilities
•Help clients design and build data and analytics architectures to enable better business outcomes
•During implementation, collect, aggregate, and analyse structured/unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources, present patterns and insights, and scale data for use in ML and AI use cases
•Collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects in implementing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
•Support the strategy, planning, team management and implementation of data design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, performing needs assessments and leading projects
•Develop and maintain data lake and data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures and relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics
•Work with customers to understand their overall data estate, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions
Requirements
•Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a BA/BS or MS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
•Minimum of 6+ years of relevant professional consulting experience in technology or similar roles
•Good understanding of ETL, ELT, data ingestion/cleansing, engineering and data modeling skills
•Good technical experience and knowledge in two or more of the following:
•Data Ingestion and Storage, preferably in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Azure Fabric
•Some engineering experience and/or project course work using large data systems on T-SQL and/or Python
•Big Data Analytics, preferably in Azure Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Snowflake
•Data Governance, Data Catalog, Master Data Management
•AI/ML or GenAI architectures and projects delivery
•Communication is essential: must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights
•Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload
•Ability to adapt quickly and positively to change
•Effective communicator and confident team player with strong people management skills
•Creative, proactive, a team player, and able to work under pressure
•Strategically focused mindset and the ability to deliver multiple projects and present information in a clear and concise manner
•Business mindset and some commercial acumen
•Strong work ethic, forward-thinking, and self-starter attitude
Nice to Have
•PowerBI experience
•Experience and knowledge with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile and/or Scrum methods of delivery
•MS Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Fundamentals
