Fully remote, restricted to candidates based in Georgia, with required daily overlap with US Pacific hours.

Location
Remote, Tbilisi, Georgia; reasonable daily overlap with US Pacific hours required.
Salary
$4,000–$5,000 per month before taxes.
Company
Technology, innovation, and consumer intelligence firm combining proprietary research, primary data, analytical frameworks, and AI-enabled tools to advise global technology and consumer goods companies.
What you will do
•Assess and stabilize a mature legacy codebase with reliable builds, characterization and regression tests, and automated checks.
•Design and implement an agent-driven workflow from issue intake through agent-generated changes, automated review, human approval, and deployment.
•Build quality gates using automated tests, static analysis, CI/CD pipelines, and safeguards for safe and reversible automated changes.
•Enable self-service issue submission so non-engineers can receive pull requests for approval with minimal engineering involvement.
•Document the system and operating model, communicate automation status, and hand off routine maintenance.
•Work closely with the CTO and engineering team on reviewing and approving generated changes.
Requirements
•More than 6 years of experience.
•Deep hands-on experience using AI coding agents to build automation, including agent-driven workflows such as issue-to-PR, automated code review, or agents integrated with CI/CD.
•Fluency with coding agents, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails, source control, and deployment integrations.
•Strong experience maintaining and modernizing large, mature codebases and working with legacy code that does not follow current best practices.
•Solid .NET and C# experience; the core system uses ASP.NET and C#.
•Working familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python across a polyglot estate.
•Hands-on experience bringing legacy code under test through characterization and regression testing, and establishing CI/CD where little previously existed.
•Pragmatic, outcome-focused judgment; ability to right-size work for a system planned for replacement rather than over-engineering it.
•Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight, communicate clearly, and work full-time with reasonable daily overlap with US Pacific hours.
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; broad software engineering knowledge across languages, frameworks, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.
Nice to have
•Experience with Umbraco or legacy ASP.NET.
•Familiarity with Azure and Azure DevOps.
Culture & Benefits
•Full-time remote work.
•Pragmatic, outcome-focused approach centered on low-touch maintenance rather than perfection.
•Opportunity to build a system that operates with little or no dedicated engineering effort.
•Option to remain involved later in a low-hours capacity to improve the automation and handle more difficult cases.
