What you will do
•Supervise daily accounting operations covering payment accounting and fixed asset accounting.
•Review accounting entries, reconciliations, vendor payments, driver payouts, reimbursements, operational expenses, and supporting documentation.
•Oversee fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, registers, and physical asset verification.
•Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, prepare accounting schedules and reports, and ensure audit readiness.
•Monitor internal controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties, and compliance with local regulations across CIS countries.
•Supervise, coach, and train Accounting Specialists while collaborating with Treasury, Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, and external partners on issue resolution and process improvement.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably including payment accounting, fixed asset accounting, or accounting operations.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and internal controls.
•Experience working with SAP.
•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced regional environment.
•Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
•Prior experience supervising a team or performing senior accounting responsibilities.
•English proficiency.
