Job Summary
As an Accounting Analyst within the Record to Report (R2R) team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. You will support the month-end close process, perform account reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys problem-solving, driving process improvements, and contributing to a high-performing global finance organization.
Where You'll Make a Difference
•Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
•Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, reclassifications, and other accounting adjustments.
•Perform balance sheet reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve reconciling items.
•Analyze profit and loss and balance sheet fluctuations, providing meaningful variance explanations.
•Support compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
•Partner with Finance teams, including Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, AP, and AR to ensure financial accuracy.
•Contribute to process standardization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
•Maintain high-quality accounting documentation and supporting schedules for assigned accounts.
•Ensure service levels and reporting deadlines are consistently met.
What Makes You the Right Fit
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
•2-5 years of experience in General Ledger, Record to Report (R2R), or Financial Accounting.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
•Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
•Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
How Would You Stand Out?
•Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.
•Knowledge of BlackLine or other account reconciliation and financial close tools.
•Exposure to IFRS, US GAAP, or local statutory reporting requirements.
