Responsibilities
•Maintaining accurate records of facility financial activity
•Posting and reviewing monthly revenue
•Reconciling balance sheet accounts
•Completing monthly close and quality checklists
•Reviewing monthly P&Ls
•Collaborating with other finance operations teams
•Collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues
•Proactively informing management of concerns or barriers to meeting timelines
•Preparing accurate and timely reports for management and clients
•Working together with a senior/supervisor on the client's projected annual revenue, expense, and staffing budget
•Reviewing the final budget to confirm with management
•Participating in training new employees
•Recommending new processes to your supervisor to assist workflow
•Compiling data for external audits, reviews, and tax filings
•Reviewing bank BBCs
Requirements
•A BS in accounting or current enrollment pursuing a BS in accounting
•An understanding of accounting processes to ensure compliance with GAAP
•Basic accounting knowledge with a readiness to expand on that knowledge
•The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and operate independently
•Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn new systems and policies
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite
