Description: The Accountant will work on-site in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in a full-time capacity, supporting clients and internal teams with accurate and timely financial information.
Responsibilities:
•Maintaining accounting records
•Preparing and reviewing financial statements
•Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
•Ensuring compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements
•Analyzing financial data to support consulting and strategic planning projects
•Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
•Contributing to tax optimization strategies in line with applicable legislation
•Collaborating with colleagues to improve financial processes, enhance transparency and control, and support the development of financial models that enable clients to make informed decisions

Requirements:
•Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation of accounts
•Experience with tax accounting and compliance, including understanding of local tax regulations and participation in tax optimization initiatives
•Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret financial data and support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
•Hands-on experience with accounting software and spreadsheets, and the ability to work with digital tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
•Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a consulting-oriented environment
•Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
•Ability to work on-site in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, collaborate within a team, and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
•Knowledge of Russian and English
Nice to have:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage
•Prior experience in accounting, audit, or financial consulting is preferred
•Experience in outsourced accounting services is a plus
