The role requires 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, workforce planning or people analytics, strong Excel/Google Sheets modelling skills, familiarity with HRIS tools and planning platforms like Pigment or Anaplan, and comfort using AI tooling daily. Today, more than 250,000 companies use Mollie to get paid, manage money and grow, with products designed to be simple, scalable, and dependable. Responsibilities
•Own how Mollie tracks, measures and forecasts headcount, including the headcount model, hiring plan, attrition and open role view, and the link between headcount and budget.
•Lead the analytical response to the most important workforce questions, such as sizing hiring needs, stress testing plan assumptions, and building the case for new teams and locations.
•Build and own models that break headcount and people cost down into their key drivers (hiring pace, attrition, mix, seniority, location), giving P&P and senior leaders the visibility to prioritise and act with confidence.
•Walk P&P through the trends in people data and the story behind them, including spend and other relevant metrics such as People OPEX, Places costs and vendor spend.
•Own the people and headcount view end to end in monthly business reviews and in the annual planning cycle.
Requirements
•3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, workforce planning or people analytics, ideally within a high growth fintech, tech or payments company.
•Academic background in a quantitative or business field.
•Very comfortable using AI tooling in daily work — this is a must. Used to accelerate output, pressure test thinking, automate recurring work and remove the grunt work that gets in the way of insight.
•Strong modelling skills in Google Sheets or Excel, and familiarity with HRIS and data visualisation tools (HiBob, Workday, Omni or similar).
•Able to reason about headcount, attrition, cost per head and hiring funnel metrics without the concepts needing to be explained.
•Experience with Pigment, Mollie's planning tool, or with a comparable planning platform (Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar).
•Action oriented by nature; analysis does not stop at describing what happened — formulates a recommendation and stands behind it.
•Handles sensitive people data with discretion and good judgement.
What Mollie offers
•Regular feedback and performance reviews to support development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way.
•Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves; the company actively hires from within to help employees take the next step.
•Whether aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, employees are supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow.
